First registered my car from out of state 2 years ago. Did the emissions test, etc.
Just got my renewal, and to my surprise it says Passed Roadside Emissions. I expected to have to do it again this year. Anyone know why not?

You drove past one of their white tester trucks (usually on on-ramps).

Good deal!

I know I've seen them as I've gotten on Rt 6, but can't believe my wife has, too. She rarely drives anywhere (at least that I know about )

My daughter has a car at CSU and she still manages to pass those on ramp testing vans twice a year.

Maybe you drive your wife's car often enough to pass the tests.

Oh, and the emission tests are only in the metro area.

Au contraire! Emissions tests were reinstated in Larimer and Weld counties Fall 2010
