Hi, Looking for some info about apartments in the Littleton, Colorado area, relocating from New Jersey. Was in Colorado 35 years ago for like 6 months. I lived in Littleton, Looking to move back to the area and wonder if it is a safe/nice area. Or any recommendations to apartments. 50 year old female, looking for an apt for between $800-$950. I bedroom that allows 1 cat. Thanks for any info. No job yet plan on looking once I get there so it leaves me open to areas close by. Like Garden type apartments.

I used to live in Littleton a few years back... I really enjoyed it. I prefer the southwest area that hugs closer to the mountains. It is mostly newer construction - lots of condos.

It has changed a lot since I lived there, so I'm sure it will be unrecognizable to you if it's been 35 years!! When I think of Littleton, I think of all the newer construction in the 1980's, 1990's and 2000's.

I lived near Chatfield Park, back when the dog park was free admission.

I moved here from NY 12 years ago. I find Denver and its surrounding suburbs to be too much like the tri-state area. I lived in Fort Collins for 7 years, than Loveland one. Now I'm in a small farming community Near Johnstown.
Getting back to your question your price range is spot on for a nice place. You would actually pay the same for a nice one family house as taxes over here are in the $800 dollar range for such a house annually.

Good luck.
