Yes I think so. When I left they were still building it so it was a mess, but walked around it last fall and you can hardly recognize it. However it seemed to have more business than back when I lived there.

I lived in Lionshead in 2001, pretty cool experience, however it was run down and not really laid out well. I knew redevelopment was inevitable.

Recently with my interest in Vail history, I came across a photo of Lionshead around 1970 or so and back then it looks pretty cool and modern for the time.

Things change though and it was time for something new.
