Summer Wedding...
I am planning a wedding for July 2009. I am having the worst time finding somewhere reasonable. My Fiance and I want an Outdore wedding that isn't going to cost $6,000.00 without the food and all. If anyone knows of a great place any help is appriciated. I have never planned a wedding before and I'm all on my own for this one. This McC Ranch sounds good. Is there a phone number I call or anything???
Thanks again

I will pm you with the guys name. There is also another site just down from his. I can not recall the name of it (something like horseshoe ranch) that only holds about 200 people. I can not tell you anymore about that one than that. Good luck.

Foss Chapel
Hi,
I am currently not engaged yet, but will be very soon. I came across this post about Foss Chapel and was interested in finding out how much you spent to rent the chapel because it seems small and cosy and I want to have a small wedding. I was thinking of just having the wedding there and doing the reception at a restaurant. I feel weird calling them and asking since I'm not really in a position to do so yet.
Any information you can share would be very helpful! Thanks!

Foss Park Chapel & Conference Center of Indian Hills, CO (broken link)
Located in Indian Hills, a very beautiful small wedding chapel located in the foothills just 6 miles from C470 and 285, large pine trees, 160 acres and small reception hall available. Wedding Chapel will hold 60-70, has an organ... Incredible area and very private, lots of large Pine trees, valleys and views all the way into Denver. Take a look and then call them to get the Rate. Inexpensive compared to everyplace else.
We got married there this summer and truly a wonderful wedding! Such a very well kept secret of a place... Not expensive, yet small, private and amazing place with much history.

Looking at wedding locations. Help?
Hello! My fiance and I are planning on getting married in Colorado. Currently we live in Florida so I am pretty much going off of what I find over the net. However, we will be taking a trip at some point after I create a list of all the venues to check out. I would like to ask a few questions and hopefully some of you may be able to help me.
We are looking for a place where there will be snow, so the best bet would be a ski resort. Our wedding date will be December in the next upcoming year. I am specifically looking for a venue that has large floor to ceiling windows that over look snowy mountains. Someplace that has spectacular views. We will be having a small wedding, the guest list will be around 50-100 people. I still want a nice big room though so everything won't be cramped.
That is pretty much what I am looking for Hopefully you all can give me some ideas!

I know some people who got married up in larkspur, it was this really cute church. I wish I could remember the name of it, but it sat up high on a hill and it was so pretty. Nothing but trees and mountains.

You might also check out Estes Park. There are several beautiful venues and it may (although I could be totally wrong) be cheaper than a ski area.
If your convinced a ski area is for you, I would encourage you to look at Steamboat. My friend was married at the main hotel at the base of the mountain (don't remember the name) and it was absolutely beautiful! Keep in mind though, that it's fairly remote.
