I agree, the snowstorms would really bring neighbors together, although I am not interested in shoveling this kind of snow ever again.
Yeah, the dog doesn't look too impressed either. LOL! We had a huge snowstorm in northern CA a couple years ago and our golden retreiver was in HEAVEN! He rolled in it for hours and then let all that packed snow melt off his fur in my living room. LOL!

LOL! Well, it can't be too much fun to play in the snow without a winter coat to keep you warm! I'd want the fire too! Poor puppy needs a doggie cookie.

These aren't that scenic, it is more of a 'travelling northbound on 25" collection.

Entering Colorado from NM at Raton Pass

There was a brief scenic view from the pass, but I did not have an opportunity to take a picture.

heading out of Raton Pass

Somewhere in Trinidad.

What the eastern plains look like for most of the trip.

I forget where this is, I think it was an hour or so south of Pueblo.

Strange hill by the side of the highway, maybe a volcanic core?

Here are some pictures from my Thanksgiving weekend vacation to Estes Park. There are a couple of Horsetooth Reservoir in FTC also. Enjoy!

Pictures taken in and around Longmont in late May / early June 2007.

This is in Loveland:

I've got more, but I guess I never uploaded them. I hope to move to CO sometime in 2008...it's up to my employer though.

Nice shot of Long's Peak!

Nelumbo, that's a shot of Greenhorn Mountain from the south. That's how it would look from near Walsenburg and yes, you're about 45 miles or so south of Pueblo.

Now, here's a couple of shots of that same Greenhorn mountain from Colorado City;

Really nice shots up near Horsetooth and those Steamboat pics sure look like the place to be!

Frosty is up to his chin. Our other lawn decorations are totally buried or barely visible.

Hard to tell that I cleared off the driveway the afternoon before. Glad I bought a snow blower when we moved here. We helped dig several neighbors out with it.

What do you do about getting to your jobs when this happens? If you can't make it how much time off will your employer generally permit?

All of these pictures are truly amazing! I see some real talent in Colorado.

Anyone have any pictures of Idaho Springs? I would appreciate it. Thank you!
