Your pictures are awesome. You must be pretty serious about photography. It shows. Could you share some info about your camera? Mine is a 2.0 pixel Canon that I reduced the resolution to make the pictures easier to e-mail

Thanks, Tao, for answering my question about the church picture. Thank you, to whoever made this a sticky, so we don't lose it! And, thank you to everyone who is putting up these great pictures! You have no idea how much I am enjoying them! If it's alright with y'all, I'm going to be saving some of these, so I can use them as backgrounds on my pc. Keep 'em coming!

Default Some pix I've not posted yet...

1. View from Pikes Peak & Manitou Cog Railway. Looking east at drygrass prairie that runs hundreds of miles east. Train goes to the top, 14,110 feet, always 20-30 degrees colder up there, windy too.

2. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in COL SGPS. South side of town, near Broadmoor, great views of the downtown.

3. View of Estes Park from atop the tram ride. Tourism is big in EP, lots of events all year, site of the Stanley Hotel (in movie "The Shining"). The gateway into Rocky Mountain National Park. Elk graze in people's backyards.

4. Garden of the Gods in COL SPGS. A free park, right in the city, walking, cycling, horseback riding, rock climbing.

5. View of Golden, CO from atop Lookout Mountain. Coors Brewery is down there, as is the CO School of Mines.

6. View from the tourist train in Leadville, CO, showing the Climax Molybdenum Mine on the mountian.

I currently use a Canon oRebel XT with a Sigma 18-125 lens, although I am itching to get something in the 55-200 range soon.

I use SmugMug (a pay service) for photo hosting because I do not have to reduce the resolution online.

I'm going in to edit the post now with some captions. Copying all those image links was all I could do yesterday before going cross-eyed.
