Best to gooogle all of the areas you are interested in about seasonal jobs there, and when they are hiring. Some resorts are already having "job fairs" for this upcoming winter season, or have them scheduled very soon. Opening day isn't that far off ....

Many resort businesses have made arrangements for accomodations for their staff. You need to ask what their pay/compensation package includes. There may be housing provided, there may be a housing allowance, and so forth.

A lot depends upon the type of work you are seeking ....

Default Resort Employee Housing....

Back in the mid 90s....I briefly worked for one of the ski resorts in Summit County and was able to acquire employee housing. I shared a fairly small room with 2 twin beds, separated by a free-standing closet, a small living room area and we shared a kitchen/bathroom.... with another room and its two occupants. Had to provide my own TV, as I recall....but cable, utilities, etc. was included.
At the time.....the rent for this room was like.... $ 250 or so/month per person and taken directly out of my pay....so about $500/mo....was the "rate for employees" for a single room with 2 people who may or may not be very compatible.
Housing was somewhat limited too and you better jump on it quick IF it's available or you were outta luck and have to find your own housing.....which was VERY expensive in Summit Co. and even more so in the winter.
Also.....groceries....in Silverthorne or Frisco.....were almost TWICE as expensive as the Denver area, I believe.
BTW.....the wage they were paying at that time was about $7.35/hr. if my memory serves me right.....so there was never much to live on and it hardly seemed worth it, in retrospect. BUT.....if you could score a better-paying job or multiple jobs/get tips, etc.......you MIGHT be ok?....
Don't know now if things have improved or not....but I seriously doubt it.
It IS a GORGEOUS place to be in the winter months though....and skiing/boarding was free to employees...at the time.
Good luck.
