MichenMich - I would love to know about the apartment situation in Durango. We will be looking to rent a 2 bedroom, maybe even in town. Anything you find out about that is most appreciated! (price, availability, etc..) THANKS!

I will ask around and keep my eyes open for those free apartment magazines in restaurants and such. My realtor send me some listings to go through and it seems as an RN I can only afford a few acres of land with no house at best. I guess you get what you pay for.

Camping anyone? Let me show you to the guest tent . . .

My cousin just came back from a week in his condo there. What beautiful photos he took of the aspen changing colors and the snowy mountains!

Can't wait to go . . .

Default Any horse property?

Michinmich,

Would you happen to know about how much boarding for one horse is in the Durango area? I'm still debating on boarding the horse separately vs getting a place with a horse set up.

If anyone sees any horse property for rent/lease or lease/option, let me know. Has to have a barn and fenced pasture, for at least one horse, and other farm critters. And, of course, a house; within 20 or 30 minutes of Durango would be ideal.

My realtor is going to introduce me to some people from a trail riding group so I will ask them about your questions too. What other farm critters?-just in case they ask.

For right now, just the horse, goat, 2 dogs and a cat. That would be great if you could remember to ask my questions. Sound like you are coming along nicely with your move...(my plans are changing daily - my head is starting to spin, LOL).

The BIG reason we came to Denver area: a gazillion jobs for nursing. We live in Louisville and there are at least 10 hospitals to choose from in <30 mintue drive of our house. There are other places we might like to go, but frankly if you live in an area and only have 1-2 hospitals to choose from you may not be very happy. Yes there are other jobs for nurses than hospitals, but pay is kinda important and the most money is made in hospitals, not dr office, etc..

Default Horse Property in Pagosa Springs

I am the owner of a property for sale here in Pagosa Springs. I want to make you aware of a horse friendly neighborhood: Timber Ridge Ranch Subdivision, where my property (3.44 acres) is located. It borders a 5.5 acre greenbelt and backs up to pasture land. There is a beautiful view of the San Juans and there is also a private equestrian center, with full arena, in the process of being built and trails in the subdivision. There is city water, sewer and electric. I am a very motivated seller, asking $275,000 for this property. If you want to know more, please call my broker, Brianna Jacobson at 970-264-3800.
