I am looking to relocate to Colorado after I finish school, currently I am an operations supervisor at the childrens place distribution center, I am going to school and getting into the information technology field, after school I will have my A+,MCSA,MCSE,Security+,and CCNA certifications, my question is,what would be the best place to find a job and relocate my family, I really like the Colorado Springs area, I've also been looking into the Fort Collins area, any info would be greatly appreciated, also if anyone has pics of these areas they wouldn't mind posting, that would be great.

When are you finishing school?
What is your housing price range?
What are your job prospects in each community you are looking at?
Have you already checked out photos on the internet and on these forums?

Default Hello Charles, Thank You for taking the time to reply

Again thank you for taking the time to respond to my post. As far as school goes it will be in about 2 yrs before I finish, my price range as far as houses go, I'm not to sure about yet, my wife and I have never owned a home before, so that's a little unclear for us right now, we have really good credit though, so getting a loan isn't really an obsticle, if I had to guess I'd say 300,000 to 350,000, as far as job prospects go, the school offers placement, but I'm going to keep my options open. I have looked at the pictures on this site, I love this state it's very beautiful, I hear good things about the school system, which is very important to me, also the attitude of the people who live in colorado, I live in So. Cal, the people here are very impatient and rude and the school systems seem to be trying so hard to accommodate the spanish speaking kids, everyone else is being pushed off to the side.

Again thank you for your time, I look forward to hearing from you again.

Two years is plenty of time to take a couple trips out here and get a feel for the area. I would say that you would like either Fort Collins or Colorado Springs area just fine. I would just go with where you get the better job. I can tell you that Fort Collins has a good school system. There are also several programs out there for first time home buyers. These programs will help with your down payment among other things. You will not have any problems finding housing in your price range.
