Some shots from an early solo ride on Hermosa Creek trail. I really wasn't sure I knew where I was going. And it was a weekday, so I saw absolutley no one (except cows).

These are from an early Fall ride up to the top of Kennebec Pass on the CO Trail...

A shot from Gudy's Rest on the Colorado Trail during our fist visit. At the time it seemed like a truly rare opportunity to be able to play in a place like this. Now, I routinely ride to this spot right from my house. Pretty fortunate....

You can see the trail you ride/hike up below in the photo...

My daughter and I at Dolores River Brewery a couple of years ago...and the reason for the sling...broken clavicle from a little tumble in Horse Gulch.

Hope you don't mind me glomming on to your thread but these are pictures of Durango taken from the cockpit of my glider ride. Btw, I highly recommend soaring, though it was a bit unnerving when the tow plane released the cable connecting us.

Looks like you need some discs! I am just getting over my broken clavicle, also from a MTB fall. Lots of fun.
Pretty jealous, I miss riding in CO. The trails behind Fort Lewis are just amazing, and incredible you can ride to them in town. We have nothing remotely like that in Portland (despite being such a "bike" city).

Looks like you guys are really taking advantage of your location!

The wife & I will be in Durango for the Home & Ranch Show next month. Checking out some builders as well as some of the local craftsmen & subcontractors in preparation for starting to build next year.

Can't wait. Then back in June for a vacation & family reunion, a real pig roast).
