Are there any areas in Fort Collins that are bad (crime, drugs, gangs...) or are there any other small little towns there where people know each other and are friendly? Still looking for Mayberry..... Thanks

There area a couple of small towns around Fort Collins. Not quite Mayberry but close. Wellington is about 10 minutes north of Fort Collins, Severance is about 10 miles east, and Timnath is about 3 miles east, there is also Berthoud which is about 15 miles south of Loveland. All these towns have the smaller town feel to them. I live in Wellington and really like it here. We can drive through town and see several people we know on any given day. Everyone is very friendly too. As far as crime, drugs, and gangs we have them all but for the size of this area it is not bad.

North college ave in the Fort is the crime/drug area. Still not
bad thou. My wiife gets the small town feel here but I don't.
I have been here 4 years longer then her but every where
we go people know her name and talk to her but not me.
But I am mister hi, good bye type.
Also look at the town La porte. It is just a couple of miles north
and closer to the Mountians.
