I am looking for some information on what the job market is like for Therapists in Colorado.
In Ca, the state is swamped, very hard to find a good job and a lot of competition for the jobs that are out there.

My family and I are planing on moving to Co at the end of this year, and I am trying to decide on starting a private practice or trying to get a job with a hospital, I am just not sure what the market looks like in Co.

I have a M.S. in Clinical psych. and will be finished with my PsyD. (clinical psych) in August. I have been working as a Therapist / Case Manager for the past 3 years at a large mental hospital in Ca. I love what I do and hope that I can find something like it in Co as well.

If anyone has some information in this area I would love some insight.

There are jobs here but there are also lots of applicants per job. Here in SW Colorado you can't swing a cat without hitting a therapist. Friends that are in the field say the pay is lower in CO than they've experienced in other states and there is a lot of paperwork in order to get licensed.
