I am moving in a couple of months and don't want to take my old living room furniture with me. Google is only getting me places in denver or colorado springs. Is there any service in the vail valley area that will take it away for me?

Put it on Freecycle:

The Freecycle Network - Posts on the Vail Group

Or put an ad in the local paper.

The Thrifty Shoppe in Edwards will pick it up as well as Habitat for Humanity in Eagle. Congrats on moving to Denver, hope it works out for you.

Sadly Freecycle isn't really active in the area, craigslist free stuff does pretty well, but the charities will come by and pick it all up and you get the tax deduction.

They will happily take a washer & dryer. Both have large trucks and nice guys who will be happy to pick them up.
