A bit late but you might also try looking for help on the Facebook page: Bayfield Online Yard Sale. Many people respond to help wanted & ISO posts.

Default Living in Forest Lakes Bayfield, Colorado

We have driven through it many years ago and it seemed ok. Has it changed? Are there infrastructure problems? Plowing, water, sewer, etc.?

Thanks in advance!
We have lived here for 5 years and have over an acre.
We LOVE it! Peaceful, serene, surrounded by beautiful
ponderosa pines. Just 30 mins to Durango. Abundant
wildlife, beautiful views, can't ask for more. Yes,
a few years ago there were foreclosures as well
as in Durango and the rest of the country.
Our neighbors are great and the FLMD takes care
of sewer, water, trash and does a great job of road
maintenance. We do not have any problems in the
winter. Very well maintained. It is cooler here in
the summer than Durango. Just open the windows
for fresh mountain air! Hope this helps!
