The long time residents of Colorado that I've met are not at all like you describe in your posts. More likely, long time residents of Colorado, just like most other people from ANYWHERE would simply recognize that the person is probably not from Colorado and leave it at that. Most people that I've ever known, from anywhere, are not as prone to name calling as you like to think they are. Or maybe it's the old like attracts like phenomenon at work again.

You won't find historic much here in Denver, but you can find houses with lots up to 1/4 acre in Green Mountain. The commute to Thornton is easy via I-70 and I-76.

I was rather taken back when we were in Jersey. Great big lots and no fences. That part was cool but it wouldn't work so well in other parts of the Country. Take LA for instance. No fence means everything in your backyard would walk off with the aid of someone.

Anyway, inner city lots are usually pretty small. You should see how small yards are near the beach!
