I would like to wish all my CD friends a happy 4th of July. We have enjoyed a nice quiet day. Louisville cancelled their festivities in the park/golf course and the fireworks, but they're having some stuff downtown tonight which will be a fundraiser for the fire victims.

Whatever you do today, have a good one!

It was the quietest 4th of July I've ever heard. No firecrackers, no bottle rockets, no gunshots. WHEW!

Went to see the fireworks in Goodland, KS. They started a pretty good grass fire along the road but crews were right there and snuffed it out.

We had a great 4th! It was my daughter's birthday. She had to work, but we did go out for coffee beforehand. Then DH and I lazed around the house, went in our above-ground pool, and relaxed. Louisvile had cancelled their fireworks and festivities, but then at the last minute rescheduled some of it (not the fw) for downtown Lsvl. We saw (heard) the Boulder concert band. One of the bar/restaurants was having a fund-raiser for the fire victims. Then we went over to Broomfield to see their fireworks.

My town cancelled all fireworks but still had a big BBQ to raise donations for the fire fighters and people displaced by the Weber Canyon fire. Go Mancos!!!
