I just did it yesterday, not super intense, maybe a touch above moderate in areas. The challenge for me was that the hanging lake trailhead was full, I ended up parking at grizzly creek 4 miles away and hiking from there. By the time I reached the hanging lake trail, I was already a little tired. I had no problem getting up there, a few breaks, but thats it.
