Question Tarantula zone?

Hello, Fower is one of the areas we are considering for a modestly priced retirement home, but I absolutely do NOT want to live in the area where the tarantulas come out looking for mates in August/September. I have had no luck with discovering the precise geographic location where this takes place. Does anyone from the area have information? Thank you!

All of Southeastern Colorado is in the Texas Brown Tarantula's range. They're not as common north of Colorado Springs east to Kansas, but they're occasionally found just outside of Denver.

Default Tarantulas

Thank you bluescreen73, that’s the information I was looking for! I can cope with an occasional sighting, but not mass numbers of them.
