The cold that wont go away! Pueblo tied a record low this morning at 23 degrees.

* LOCATIONS...EL PASO...PUEBLO...HUERFANO...LAS ANIMAS... CROWLEY...OTERO...KIOWA...BENT...PROWERS AND BACA COUNTIES.

* TEMPERATURES...MINIMUM TEMPERATURES OVERNIGHT MAY DROP TO 30 DEGREES OR COLDER FOR SEVERAL HOURS.

* IMPACT...FREEZING TEMPERATURES CAN DAMAGE OR KILL UNPROTECTED VEGETATION. OUTDOOR PLUMBING MAY BE AFFECTED

I have talked to the farmers east of Pueblo and they lost their spring corn but they like all the added moisture the mountains got. However they did say no 4th of July corn this year.

Very cold snowy day on Wednesday in Denver with snow blowing sideways. Nice day the next day though with most of it melting throughout the day. Mountains stayed snowcapped though and look good all the way down into New Mexico. Still was some snow on the ground in northeast NM. Every bit helps.
