I know there are several places in Denver that offer seasonal ski package rentals. Has anyone used any in Summit County near the ski resorts or in Frisco/Silverthorne.

My concern is what happens if something goes wrong with your equipment. Would hate to have to give up a day of skiing to go back to the rental place to get the equipment fixed.

Prices are probably better in the city. In 30+ years of skiing, I've never had something break where it ended my ski day. My wife cracked a boot once, but it was 10 years old.

What do you expect to go wrong that needs immediate repair? If you gouge them on a rock, no big deal. Take it in at the end of the day.

I took visitors to a place in Dillon in the big plaza kinda right off the interstate heading to Keystone. Was pretty cheap and everything went fine
