Snow in the forecast. Are you ready for this?
With snow in the forecast I can't but help think of last years snow falls. Are we ready for this?

Loveland pass should get about 3 inches...but it is a start. On the front range we may see some...but I'm guessing it will be a few more weeks before we get snow that will stick.

Last year, early January 2007 on the Palmer Divide. Why do I get the feeling we will get about nine inches of snow this year?

Nice picture Charles. You can guarantee that 9 inches of snow with the purchase of a bunch of new snow tires. I thought of that when I was at Lowe's 'lusting' after a 48", 18 hp, mega-snow blower. That thing would make short work of your drive. But if you bought one, it would never snow again

Well, if it's real bad, almost everything shuts down. If you work in health care, it has to be extreme to shut down. We were only shut down one day last winter. Some of the staff professed to not be able to get in, but most of the patients did!
