A career opportunity is in the consideration stage, which would involve me moving my family to the Denver area. Just came back from business trip in Sept, and saw several locations of consideration: Castle Rock, Highland Ranch, Parker, The Pinery, just about everything between the I25 and 86 (or 83) south of Inverness, which is were the organization is located.
I am looking for some space, since I have an 1/2 acre in MO, and not to much in the suburban areas, moved from So. Cal 7 years ago to MO, for space.
I noticed Denver is not very green, which I thought it would be. Traffic was not to bad, if you consider LA traffic. Schools not a issue, all kids grown up. Winter, not to much of concerned, lived in Tahoe for years, and we have pretty severe winters in MO.

I did like Castle Rock and the new Richmond American homes being built, and I did like HR, somewhat suburban, but my wife likes to shop and my girls.

What would be the key advice you would pass on to some one getting information on whether to make a move to Denver?

Thanks.

If you have a job ready to go I say take the chance you only live once ! I lived in Castle Rock for awhile and loved it. The outlet mall is nice , but the mall in Lone Tree is great. It is an easy enough trip into Denver from there.
Good luck to you!
