I know this area and I have driven down Lamar numerous times. On this area of Lamar it is an older established safe neigborhood, homes built in the 1960s. Going North on Lamar, homes get newer, home built in 1970s.

Going South, it turns into at light industrial area, South of 64th, with much older homes, still a safe area. West of the area on Wadsworth, west side, north of 68th is the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, with the Senior Center across the street. East of this area on Sheridan, North of W. 69th to W. 72nd, on the west side, a new Super Walmart is being built.

Going west on 64th takes you into old town Arvada, old, quaint and safe.

72nd. ave is a new east west road that was completed, and takes you, going west into the Ralston Valley and to the Largest Recreation Center in Colorado, the Apex Center, past Ward Rd. Continuing west will take you into newer areas, east on 72nd takes you into the older parts of Westminster. All safe and established.
