Punch list for Durango (Cortez, Aspen: rental, coop, hotel)

Well, it looks like I might be going to CO earlier than planned. I have some questions that maybe someone knows about Durango and surrounding areas:

1) What kind of internet access is available? Cable, DSL and/or ? Is T-1 or T-3 available? What stores are available for computer purchase/repair?

2) Can anyone recommend a good repair shop for a mercedes? For a Ford truck and a Jeep? Will I need snow tires during the winter?

3) Does the Sears at the mall have the auto repair facility as well?

4) Does anyone know of any horse boarding facilities, or how to find them? Sometimes they are posted at feed stores. Where can I find the feed stores?

5) Can anyone recommend a good vet, large animal and/or small?

6) My first choice would be to find a rental with horse facilities that allows dogs also. But if that is not possible, can anyone recommend a hotel or short term rental that allows one large dog?

7) If I cannot find #6, can anyone recommend a good dog boarding facility?
