I am looking to move to Estes Park when I retire from teaching in another year. I', only 58 and want to teach there. Does anyone know how hard it is to find a job there? Is there any turnover in the district?
I have 28 years experience, a Master's degree plus 18 hours in literacy and reading. Thanks!

Can't say with certainty how hard it is to find a teaching position in Estes Park, but it IS a desirable area, so I imagine that the school district receives many applications. Additionally be prepared for a paycut from the 28 yr experience level to probably the 10 yr experience level. Also note that outside of the front range population corridor, most of Colorado is very rural. In rural areas, teachers are among the highest paid members in the community, so teaching positions tend to be very competitive.
