Right around $1k I think is still typical w/ the early purchase discounts. I believe they've said they'll announce early-discount prices in May? this year. Usually it comes out around late March/early April but they've been pushing it back. Rumors about the resort being sold are going around, but those rumors come and go every year as well, so who really knows.
May 1st for the early-bird prices!

You all don't know what a relief it is to know we won't have to pay $3K for our 2 season passes. That was the only glitch to CB. I was thinking I would have to get the once-a-week pass to defer costs.

MrBongo called me from CB yesterday & asked "Well, do you want to live in a toxic dump or an upscale small ski town LOL?"

How exciting!!! Now you have me wanting to move to CB too! I've always loved it there, but couldn't ever figure a way to make it happen. Maybe one day, when we retire....

FYI the resort announced pre-season sale prices today....$599 for an Adult pass!!!! I don't know what the pre-season rate has been in the past but pretty sure it hasn't even been close to this for a long time! They changed the names, from Gold & Platinum to Peak Pass and Peak Pass+, but the benefits are the same. Peak Pass = unlimited Winter 13-14 access w/ no blackouts and you get Buddy Passes, and Peak Pass+ is the same + summmer '14 lift access and discounts around the resort. PP+ is $150 more during pre-season sales.

Edit: Also rumors getting stronger about the resort being sold buy the Mueller family. Ethan Mueller's (the GM/VP) house went on the market a week or two ago, and word is that an investment group out of Dallas is in the process of making a deal or has made a deal that hasn't been announced.
