I am moving soon to Steamboat for work and am having a tough time searching for a long term rental that is not a vacation rental. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions. I've done the craigslist thing but other than that seem to not be much. There may truly not be much but wanted to see.

Have you tried the Steamboat Pilot newspaper classified ads: Colorado Classifieds Now

When I lived in a mountain town, the paper is where many of the ads were posted. Might also check with your future employer and see if the employer has any suggestions. If you can afford a few nights in a motel at mud season prices, you might be able to network at local businesses to see if anyone has a room to rent or knows of someone vacating now that the ski season is over.

Good luck!

Try the local newspaper web link www.steamboattoday. Also I think there is one apartment complex (Mountain Village), you should be able to search on it. Good luck with your new job!
