Coach seats on Amtrak long distance equipment are like big recliners, nicer than first class in an airplane, they have huge amounts of leg room and you can walk all through the train.
I just mentioned your post to my wife and it's 6 hours each way so we will just drive, plus it's a lot more expensive that just driving, but thanks.

She just arrived tonight we are hanging around Parker tomorrow jet lag, then going to Royal Gorge on weekend, Glenwood Springs next weekend, that's what we have planned so far.

There is a really great BBQ restaurant in Downtown G.S. - Rib City Grill. My entire clan of 15 loved it!

Thanks I just found out she is a vegetarian I guess we should head to Boulder.

She'll definitely like Boulder. Take here here to eat. It's awesome. Boulder Teahouse Restaurant
And then walk down Pearl Street.

The only hi-rise bar/restaurant downtown with views is the one at the Hyatt Convention Center. It's really nice and, if I remember right, they validate your parking in the hotel.
