Some flash flooding tonight in Ouray County, several county roads and HWY 550 between Ouray and Silverton is closed due to a mud slide. We've had a LOT of rain here. If anyone is planning a trip this weekend, might want to call ahead first.

HWY 550 is back open this morning, but some county roads closed due to flooding.

Sunny and 48 degrees this morning.

Jim & Joe....The GJ stations routinely cover the weather for Delta, Montrose, and the four corners. It is a real shame that you don't get the GJ stations, and gotta watch Denver or Albu stations instead of GJ.

I agree. I DO NOT care a thing about the daily murders in Aurora, or the weather in some county 600 miles from me. Being told by some weather guy "another hot and dry one this week" when it's pouring rain here is just stupid. I was told it's all about advertisers who decide who watches what. Like I'm EVER going to Denver to buy a car, or Lakewood to buy a sofa. I've written the Junction and Denver stations, there's nothing that can be done to change this, nothing.

At least I can watch Junction news on the internet and get local news and weather online.

I agree..... I've watched enough Albuquerque news in the pst two months that I'm beginning to think that it's the murder capital of the country.

This morning I drove over to County Road 2 (off HWY 550 between Ridgway and Colona) to the Billy Creek area. Very pleasant scenic drive.
