It's just in the condos where I live, insurance restriction.

Ridgway is having it's annual huge parking lot yard sale swap meet thing today. Lots and lots of stuff I don't need. Lots of people there too. Later this afternoon is the Love Your Valley Festival.

And you might want to fill up before you leave home:

Thanks CW, looking forward to meeting you sometime. In the final phases of moving over the next 5 weeks so it's a little crazy right now. By 7/1, the permanent move will be complete. 1700 miles is a long move for us.

Same restriction in my Durango condo. Propane grills are OK but the HOA reserves the right to prohibit use during times of high fire danger.

Went to the Love Your Valley Festival this afternoon in the town park. It's basically a beer tasting thing, that for $20 you drink all the beer you want. Live music, beer, dogs and drunks. Bring the kids. I didn't stay since I hate the taste and smell of beer. Cloudy 58 degrees light rain, cool wind.

Western Colorado IMO has always been known as "gotcha" regarding gasoline prices. Just down the highway from me in Fruita the prices are actually a few cents higher than THAT at two stations (I-70, exit 19) Yet you go into Grand Junction itself and prices are cheaper. Gas at Sam's Club for midgrade is $3.57 a gallon, the other stations maybe a dime higher.

Spent all day Sunday in Delta mowing and doing yard work on an older relatives place. Grilled rib eyes for the two of us. It was nice, no riff raff, no chaos. The drive back up to Ridgway it was dark clouds but the snowcapped San Juans were bathed in sunshine. Quite spectacular. This morning it was cloudy and 32 degrees in Ridgway. I'll be VERY happy when they finish that stupid construction on HWY 62. The BEEP BEEP BEEP from the backup alarms wake me at 6am and they don't finish until 9pm. UGH!

Today is a laying around reading letting my back and muscles recover lazy Monday.

Sorry the BEEP BEEP reaches your house. It's always unfortunate to have to deal with that. At least I'm up by 6am over the summer because the weather is beautiful and I don't want to miss the great mornings. It was about 40 this morning in Co. Springs. Warm enough for a nice morning walk
