In the foothills area... (Boulder, Golden, Evergreen, Nedarland) around Christmas time?

Thanks!

Boulder and Golden are not the foothills. The probabliltiy of a "white Christmas" there is not particularly high. You can look at some weather websites for more specific information. I can't comment on the other two.

I don't know about Nedarland but for the other places most likely not much but anything is possible. A big storm could come in like last year. It will be cold though. One of the coldest months of the year.

So where does it get snow at that time? How far west from Denver do you have to go?

Thanks.

This is what our street looked like right after Christmas last year. We're in Monument, about 40 miles south of Denver. Not typical though.

There is about a 1 in 5 chance of a white christmas, if that. Usually its a dusting as most. Last year, my house had about 4 feet, but its was the worst in my 32+ years here.

In Nederland, you may have some snow, just because its quite a ways up into the mtns.

Evergreen will probably be pretty nice 40-60 and maybe some residual snow around.

I am having a bunch of family over this christmas so I am sure we will have several feet of snow and minus zero temps.

I hope it isn't as bad as last year. Last year was beyond brutal.

I have seen it in the 70s in mid-December, 65 on New Year's Day. It can be anything, as you said.

I think last year was the first time Denver had snow on x-mas day in 30 years or so. Sometimes there will be snow left over from a previous snow but even that is rare since the snow around here is usually so quick to melt.
