I just came across the interesting history of this one time Black/African American settlement 30 miles east of Greeley. I was wondering if there is interest to preserve structures or even revitalize the settlement again? Is it a community that people know about in Colorado? Its probably not one of the most well-known stories in Colorado history, but it does get mentioned in the newspapers once in awhile.
