No, it's because they decided that the risk of failure was too high. Basic order of life and who eats who.

Seriously? That cat would have to take a run at that window to break it.
Wrong vector to break that glass.

However, in most cases the car swerves to avoid the deer and spins off into the trees, smashes into the trees and is bound to injure the victims inside. The other deer watching emerge from hiding and kick in the windows, then drag the stunned victims into the forest and devour them. The teen deer who survived is now an adult deer and is given the honor of smashing in the head and eating the brains of all the victims.

The deer in petting zoos are basically decoys, they fool humans into believing that all deer are cute and friendly, but now you know the truth. Stay away from deer. They are killer deer from hell.
OMG! I just now read your post and I sprayed ice tea all over my computer screen!

Your post is so true! When that teenaged deer jumped out in the middle of the road that night I had the car wreck outside Durango, I thought for sure I was gonners - not from the accident, but from the circle of menacing antlers that surrounded me as soon as I was thrown out the car thru the sun roof by the impact.

I could hear a large herd of spectator deer on the edge of the meadow, cheering and giving one another high fives with their hooves. The deer circling me were staring at me and licking their chops...

And then a MOUNTAIN LION came out of nowhere to my rescue! Those yellow-belly deer took one look at that big cat and ran for their lives. The mountain lion licked my face with its rough tongue and purred to comfort me until the EMT's with the ambulance arrived.

And THAT is the true story of how I almost lost my life to the virulent deer herds outside Durango!

All deer should be sent to the state pen in Canon City. That would teach them about eating people's tulips! Someone in this state needs to put foot down (on a rack of antlers).

There's even a place with their name on it waiting for them to the north:

Old Montana State Prison at Deer Lodge

I've not hunted big game myself... yet. I would have or would like to if I could go with folks who were safe, hard-working, and skilled at it. But, I've been the recipient of a good meal prepared by a skilled hunter, either at work, at a friend's home, a good restaurant, etc.
