Default Bellvue Colorado ?

Im re-locating to Colorado. I would like to live in a rural area in the mountains, but would need to be within a commute to Fort Collins. I really like the look of the Bellvue area. Im looking for info. on the amount of snowfall, wildlife, (I heard there is Mountain lions in Bellvue !) Any info about this area would help. Thank you....

There are actually mountain lions and bears that have come into Fort Collins, so the info that they are in Bellvue is also true. Very rarely do we hear of an attack by a mountain lion or even a bear. I think Bellvue is a very pretty area and it is anywhere from 10-30 minutes to Fort Collins. In some areas the roads are very poor and getting to town in the winter can be impossible, but if you stay on the paved areas you would be fine. As far as snow fall goes that depends on the winter. Of coarse there is going to be a little more snow because of the higher elevation, but I think it is bearable there. You may even want to consider the area around Lory State Park or Horsetooth Reservoir. Those are both in about the same area. There is nothing really in Bellvue as far as commodities but Laporte and Fort Collins are very close and both have everything you would need. Let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. I am very familiar with the area.
