Welcome to Colorado!

Enjoy the weather while it lasts. Its been real nice and hardly any snow.

If this year is like most years, your going to be in for a treat till at least mid-december. They used to call the warmer temps here "indian summer", but maybe thats not P.C. anymore. My wife and I got married on Dec 30 in Genesse and it was 68 that day. Sure, a week earlier, it snowed and she paniced. But as you probably already know, variety and change are strong themese in the colorado climate. If you don't like it, wait a few days ... you'll get something different.

Check out the mountains after the next snowfall -- its a gorgeous look to see snow capped mountains, esp. early in the season when its typically still somewhat fall-like in the front range areas.

I agree. Honestly, I love it when it snows.

Plus I actually enjoy clearing the sidewalks and driveway. Its the winter exercise program, or at least last winter is WAS.

My wife is also from FL, and she is always talking about it ... and I just tell her, I can't handle the warm weather all year. I need change / variety ... 4 real seasons.

Congrats on your move. I moved here from HOT Texas last February...I also could not take being in hot/humid weather any longer. This site was instrumental in giving me a lot of insight to make my move here...and I can tell you I have never looked back! I love living here!! ...and bet you will also. The quality of life here is so wonderful!

My co-workers think I'm silly because I also can't wait for it to snow....I get excited every time I hear of a cold front coming...I think the next one is next Monday/Tuesday...hopefully it will bring us snow!
