Cool....we used to eat at his place in the Bailey's Crossroads area, great food and he'd be in there a few times. After he won a super bowl, he added on to the place, called the new seating area the Pasadena Room. Saw him eating at Roy Rogers in Tyson Corner mall once, came in with Kathy Lee Crosby.... saw him and his wife show up, in separate cars, at HoJo's in Oakton, VA.... later found out about their divorce which then made sense of the separate cars thing .... always enjoyed watching him play.... enjoyed all the old "Sonny or Billy" nonsense in the DC press....

My tickets are to the Redskins game. Peyton's Broncos vs RG3s red skins sounds like an awesome game. It was some pretty hectic clicking and typing in the security symbols to get them I'm really glad the state did this, because I think it is a great way to expand viewership and include the young and poor in the opportunity to go to a game.

40 bucks to park sounds pretty expensive. What other options do we have for transportation from the Springs?

Lucky man, seems everyone was trying for that game. I couldn't get it and settled for the Titans game.

Lots close by run $20 and up. If you can walk park downtown, you might even get lucky and get a free spot at a meter around the Auraria campus which is not that long a walk along the light rail path.

Yeah, I figured I got pretty lucky. I had considered trying for something that would be less likely to draw the crowds with so many people from DC here.

You said free spot at a meter? Are the meters just off on Sunday? I don't mind walking up to about a mile, and don't mind taking public transit en route to a game. I know how crazy it was when I went to a seahawks game several years back, so I'd be happy to take a bus or light rail to avoid it.

Easy to take the train, multiple stops are right next to I-25 as you head north. There is a bus from Southmoor P&R which gets you really close to the front door and is easier to get to after the game, but last year the buses were forced to go this insane route which took forever so train might be better.

All meters in Denver are off on Sundays.

With just two tickets to the games, I almost NEVER drive. Since I grew up near Lincoln High School, I often took the Federal Shuttle to the games. It is the cheapest public transit option. Now that I live near Chatfield, I will often take Light Rail to the game. It is important to remember that RTD does enforce the fares for games. The Invesco Field stop is fenced in and you have to show a ticket in order to leave the station. After the game, you have to show a ticket to get inside of the fence.

If you HAVE to drive, I would suggest parking at Auraria (about $10) and walking over. It is just a little farther from the stadium than the light rail station is. Another option is to park on the street next to Cheltenham Elementary School (Colfax and Irving). While the streets all around are reserved for residents' parking, the curbs next to the school have no restriction and are free. If you can't find a space there, you can park in school lot for about $10.

I got mine directly from the Bronco's website, but that was several years ago.
