It'll get him some votes, no doubt. BTW, notice the MagPul magazines in those ARs? The "once manufactured in Colorado" MagPul magazines?

The recall is a waste. We can adjust or remove various aspects of these laws as a matter of regular business in the next session of the state legislature.

Universal background checks is the right thing to do and Colorado's hand was forced due to inaction in Congress on just about everything these days, including background checks. We're all victims of gridlock and partisanship in DC and all of us should be pissed about that more than anything else. We're going after the wrong solution with the recall.
The magazine limits would be like saying there are people getting killed by drunk drivers, so all new cars must be sold with 3 gallon gas tanks, anyone with an older car with a larger tank cannot sell it and anyone caught fitting a larger tank is going to jail.

That's the kind of logic at play here and it does nothing about nothing except try to criminalize gun owners and drive up costs for manufacturers that have to make special magazines for Colorado. The idea is to punish and inflict costs and regulations on gun owners and to wait for someone to trip up and break these laws so there can be some scapegoats sent to prison. That will help scare more people into not owning guns out of fear of breaking some silly law and being sent to jail and having their whole life ruined.

The recall isn't a waste. In the case of john morse, he has openly stated that he is a totalitarian bigot that has no interest in listening to those he represents and that isn't the type of attitude we need from those we hire to represent us in the government. Time for him to go.

Colorado's hand wasn't forced. It was just an excuse to impose tyranny "because we gotta do something!".

Today is when a judge will decide on the case.

This is from the Denver Post:

After a full day of testimony from attorneys representing both sides in a recall effort against two Democratic state lawmakers, a Denver District Court judge delayed until 1 p.m. Thursday a ruling on whether the recalls move forward. Judge Robert Hyatt heard hours of testimony from attorneys and witnesses regarding the recall efforts against Senate President John Morse, D-Colorado Springs, and Sen. Angela Giron, D-Pueblo

Good - Ironic how these tyrants claim the recalls are unconstitutional all the while having pissed on the Constitution with these very bills.

A $10 background fee to exercise a right? I mean, how would people react to a $10 fee to vote?

And also, who cares? And good for them if they want to help! We NEED the power of the NRA behind this effort. If morse is taking money from Mikey Bloomberg, we can play dirty too.
