I have a job, I am transfering with my job I will be working south of denver on broadway, so I was told to look south of denver, like Highlands Ranch,Castle Rock, Parker, that these areas were nice with good schools and great views. I will be renting for the first year until I get to know the area, I need at least 4 bedroom house in a neighboor with kids and other familys. I have been looking on-line a lot of nice houses out their, just trying to find the best area for my family. Price range anywhere from like 1500 - 2000
just do not want to live in a bad area |

Most of the area you refer to is considered "good". However, nothing beats coming out and taking a look yourself, even if you have to pay for it yourself.

Just be prepared for a BIG change from MN.
Nicer winters here though I have been told. I just moved to Pueblo from Wisconsin this past summer, so I have yet to experience a winter here, but, so far, so good......been pretty mild for November in my opinion. Very, very dry here though and very dusty. Not green and not alot of trees or water/lakes here like in the Midwest. Yes, I would strongly recommend you come out and see things here first for yourself before you make that decision. |

All of the places you mentioned are good and I'd go with the one that is closer to work (which probably would be highlands Ranch).

HR would be the most convienient and also has lots of good rentals. We found a place in 2005 in Westridge which backed to a huge park with mtn views ... rent was $1500/mo. The only negative over in Westridge was how loud the train can be. If you like trains, you'll be in heaven. The northridge area or westridge areas in HR would be the most convienient. We would a wide range of rentals for the same $$ amount.
