back me up here people.............
I'v smoked pot for 46 years since the age of 14. Been married for 38 years, raised & educated 3 kids, invested & saved enough over the years to retire with accounts well into 7 figures. All of the people I smoke with are very much like me. My family doctor, my financial advisor, along with other mature professionals. You obviously hang with the wrong crowd.

Back yourself up.......

Backing you up....right over the edge of the west cliff! Name callers are generally people who lack compassion, acceptance, and tolerance, and believe the way they live is the only acceptable way to live. Everyone else is ( name calling time! ).

Perhaps the new "best place" would be Uruguay, where legal sales of pot at $1/gram begins in the second half of 2014. Story here.

That works out to $28.35 / ounce. Anyone foresee a bump in tourism to Uruguay?

MMJ here in COLO SPGS sells in the range of $200 / ounce.

Just voted today in favor of the tax on MJ.

Default Latest Poll Says 58% Favor Legalization of MJ

Gallup Poll released today says 58% of Americans now approve of legalization of MJ, vs 39% who say don't.

Back in 1969, only 12% favored legalization.

More good info in the article.

Eventually any place will be a good place but right now it looks like COLO and WASH are the places.

Based on my recent visit to Nevada City-CA, I'd say that California might be the best state of all. While mj has not yet been legalized, it's easily accessible and far less costly than it is in Colorado. My friend who has lived in Nevada City for ten years, smokes a bit every evening, and he claims that he has not spent so much as a nickle during that time. Based on what I've seen, I have no reason not to believe him. It is so readily available that people give it away. At 200 bucks an ounce, I rather doubt that people will be giving it away any time soon in Colorado.

Nevada City must have a lot of people growing at home. then there is always a surplus to share with friends and family. it's only a hop and skip from Emerald Coast, too. when the pounds are flowing, everybody gets a taste. same thing happens everywhere, i presume. at least, it used to be that way in the old days.

I'm for the total de-criminalization of all drugs. Why put a tax on MJ and just move the profit from the amateur (but brutal) drug gangs to the (just as brutal) government gang? It's a nuisance weed that grows naturally all over the world.

Now I'm sixty years old, my best friend is 62. We are two single women in excellent health and before that changes we want to live somewhere where we can socialize in public with our favorite recreational drug, just like everyone has all of our lives.

We are moving to Colorado. Please recommend a good town, a good apartment complex, a good place for two little old ladies who just want to sit around in the evenings after work, getting high with our new friends in Colorado.

Are there pot bars? I doubt you can just walk down the street getting high, but what about outside at a table at a 55+ apt complex? Talk to me, please. Your advice and concerns will be a lot of help to two little old ladies who've been prevented from socializing with the one recreational drug that doesn't kill people, or make it easier to kill other people. It's a damn crazy world we live in... it's insane that we've waited our whole lives for this. Oh well, better late than never. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Oh! And jobs are not important. We both work online. We have jobs and we're bringing them with us. )
The thought of someone this age smoking marijuana is so hilarious to me, I immiediately think of my grandparents

the final consumer details about oil are yet to be worked out, i think, but as of Jan, you should be able to walk into a rec mj shop and buy a small quantity of bud, oil, concentrate, and/or edibles on a daily basis. must use it up while in CO or risk search/seizure when exiting the state. will always be subject to DUID (with blood testing) everywhere after using. or stay here for a few months, become a resident, and buy larger quantities (and grow your own bud). as a resident, you might qualify for medical mj and buy/grow even larger quantities at lower prices.
