Default Steamboat

im an 18 year old male who will be graduating highschool this year, i plan to attend colorado mountain college alpine campus. Im an outdoors guy i enjoy to fish, hunt, hike, and my passion is the snow i love to shred i think theres nothing better in the world then fresh powder. Its a big decision im going to make with my life being that ive lived on the east coast my whole life. i would just like to know how friendly the people are in steamboat springs, how easy it would be to find a job, economy, and how much money i should go out there with and so on, any insight would be truly helpful.

We often get young men like yourself who have the same set of likes and goals, to wit, we've answered this set of questions before. To see the info on Steamboat, enter that word into the Search Tool and let 'er rip. This will tell you about jobs and such there. Other good search terms are Aspen, Vail, Breckenridge, bum (as in ski bum), hunting, hiking, etc.

People here tend to be friendly, especially if you have a grin on your face. I spent a night in Steamboat one September and found it full of young guys in for mountain biking and summer sports. They were cool dudes, friendly sorts.
