It's snowing again this morning here in Longmont. I think we've gotten about 6 inches.
When we bought this house we specifically looked for a south facing driveway....my husband did shovel this morning, but generally, even if we don't, as soon as that sun comes out it's cleared. Our neighbors across the street have the opposite problem. If they don't shovel right away, it turns to ice and sticks around forever it seems.

I just got done removing snow from drive and deck. It was 7 degrees when I started and now it's a blistering 11. Comfortable in sweats and gloves. The snow has the texture of 'Splenda'. No shoveling involved, just pushing and sweeping

Was at keystone yesterday, they reported 33" on their outback mountain and Saturday was the first day it was open. Nothing like fresh powder. Actually, by the time I got back there it wasn't so fresh, but I grew up out east, so I'll take what I can get

In the west-central valleys--none. It was all rain.

Same here Paul. It is truly a beautiful day. Six degrees when I woke up. That's what is so nice about Colorado. You get the snow and the next day it is crystal clear. The white snow on everything looks great. We turned our furnace off a few hours ago and the inside temp went from 67F to 69F just due to the intense sun and greenhouse effect.

Great day for a brisk morning walk in the sun. Twenty seven now but it feels like the 40s unless the wind picks up, which it unfortunately is doing.

We got 2 inches of snow in COL SPGS, starting as fog on Saturday morning. Here are pix from near Pine Creek HS.
Snow in Colorado - With Photo's-2007-1209-001-.jpg Snow in Colorado - With Photo's-2007-1209-002-.jpg

The field is county land, used by Kettle Creek Ranch, a horse boarding operation with up to 90 horses to keep us company. The road curving off in the distance is Powers Blvd, and that's Hwy 83 running horizontally across the pic. CO Hwy 83 runs from COL SPGS to Denver, passing east of Castle Rock and right through Parker. Background is the Front Range and USAF property. Was 9 degrees at 9AM today, at 6700 feet of elevation, brilliant blue sky.

Here in KS we have been stuck in the clouds/fog/snow/freezing rain for over a week.
