Hi - just wondering about the city if Grand Junction. I keep getting conflicting views on the city. Some people tell me that that city is "redneck" and conservative and that the new industry being built in the area is not enviromentally friendly? Is this true? It looks like such a lovely town.

Grand Junction is more on the conservative side, but it has a mix of liberals and conservative both, so a liberal won't be isolated. I think it is more of a farming community rather than redneck. Farmers tend to be more conservative, but not all of them, for sure. It is a nice place. It is a desert area and you do need to like living in a desert, but many people like living in a desert, i.e. Phoenix. If you don't mind that, Grand Junction is a great place!
