Hi, I'm trying to locate an area that is recreational and medical friendly that is a lot safer than Pueblo. Thanks for any help anyone can provide!

How to open a Pot Dispensary -- Huffington Post

The most important part is, "Interested would-be dispensary owners starting from scratch will have a tougher time -- new applications for businesses won't even be considered until 2016...."

The fact that laws are very strict about the cultivation of marijuana. You would have to have deep pockets to start a dispensary here.

Wink If in [the cannabis] business

'The ordinance further amends local marijuana business regulations by prohibiting two retail or medicinal marijuana establishments from residing in a single development project.' [1]

Related to location are local regulations. In any business plan you'll need to consider both these, as well as other factors.

The referenced article is hardly definitive on such a subject, if giving some clue of that faced. And this, I might add, within a county which is fairly cannabis friendly.

As the matter stands, those in the best position to open recreational cannabis businesses are those who years ago entered the medical marijuana market.

Look forward to a possible uphill climb, and a lot of due diligence and homework.

"...a lot safer than Pueblo."

What's wrong with Pueblo? I was thinking about moving there...
