I've recently moved to the area and am currently doing a remote job from home - have been with my current company for 16 years. Now that I'm here I think I'd like to find something local and get a fresh start. If you LOVE your IT job or know of a great place can you provide pointers on companies to explore?
Thanks in advance!

Monster Jobs offers many IT jobs, might be worth a search and if you're IT that should be no problem for you.

I worked in IT, good money but didn't dig the people. I think one of the worst questions I had from a user in my network was "the sound doesn't work on my laptop".

Ya know what I did? I turned up the volume.

Seriously, great money, not-so-bright people. And these are engineers and such that build the places you shop in. Yeah, I watch my person when I shop.

I work in IT (Info Sec) and can tell you that it has been my experience that while the company matters, it's the manager that matters MUCH more. If you love your job, the odd's are you love working for your manager, and around your peers.

When I worked for MCI/Worldcom I can tell you holding the same job with 3 different managers was a completely different experience.
