He and I think alike.
Check the Colorado Department of Education website for school test data.
I organized and arranged a lot of school data. You can find them here:

LOL! Put the woman in scrubs and you'd have my opinion of my work at times. (I have said so recently.)

You might want to look around Fort Collins area. Westminster would also be a nice place but a little more populated. There are many newer three bedroom, two bath, and two to three car garage houses available in this area for 165,000 or less. The market is great for buyers. I know of several IT people working for the County and City departments making very good money in Fort Collins. The area is a little less populated than Westminster. However Westminster is still a nice city. Good luck with your search.

Pueblo West is 25 miles from the mountains and a great place to raise kids. Affordable, too!

Thornton is more affordable than Westminster, but not as close to the mountains and north of Denver. SouthWest Denver also has some affordable areas. We just sold a home in that area that was very nice for $200,000.

Well, I am an advocate of Northern Colorado, its low crime for one, cheap for another, and has it all minus the congestion of traffic and loads of people that the city offers. We live in Greeley, which is a small town, and very affordable. People might refer to the occasional smell of feed lots (which have been mostly moved east), but overall its a great town! And growing rapidly, one thing I love is all the parks that Greeley has to offer. Windsor, Loveland, and Fort Collins are all very nice too!! From Greeley, Estes Park (a beautiful place to go in the mountains), is an hour away, not bad! I too am a stay at home mom, to my 2 year old. We live in a nice neighborhood, no crime that I have ever seen, and our house is 150K. There are many homes under 200K especially right now that the market has declined. I agree that renting until you figure out what area you like is best! Northern Colorado is a good place that is growing fast, there is always different job opening up....I think finding a home under 200K is NO PROBLEM!
