one thing about colorado is the sometimes unpredictable weather.
Heres a few facts.
Colorado has the record for most snowfall in a 24 hour period (georgetown)
same thing for a calendar day
I think wolf creek consistantly gets the most snow, i think thats ranked ~3rd -7th or so in the lower 48.
denver had some too.....don't quite remember. oddly enough i think it was tops in lows and highs for a major city.

I just pretend to be as rough as the landscape we have here and hold it over people from other places.

Thanks for that reference, formercali! I got into a discussion about this on the Utah board, and people were saying "my doctor said the dry is better. . . ". Having had some of my words supposedly reflected back on me at the dr's office where I work, I doubted that but couldn't find a reference. Humiditiy is a cornerstone of treatment of any repsiratory problem. That is why a hot shower feels so good when you have a cold!

Love: The mountains, fresh air and wildlife.

Hate: Flaky, mostly overweight women (which is odd considering we were voted the fittest city)

Also hate how it's nearly impossible to get from one side of the road to the other on North Academy with out backtracking to an intersection , just to see that U turns are illeagal. I've been so mad at that , i've been know to drive over the concrete center median.

Another wonderful violent comment. Good reason to put you on my ignore list---now, I do not have to see you or hear you.

I love much about colorado. all the common things -seasons, nature, cost, blah blah.

things i hate though: how fast its growing, even if the growth is only really in one place. also- everyone dresses like they just came from a beach in california.

It's true for me that's for sure

Which goes to my number 1 thing I love about Colorado.... It's not California

I also love that people are worried about the gang problem here. It makes me chuckle to think of it as an actual gang problem however in most places in California this isn't even talked about anymore. A gang shooting is old news and people don't care... that scares the crap out of me.
