My husband and I will be moving from The Woodlands (Houston area), Texas to Grand Junction this March. I am excited, and trying to get things in order now. We go to a very large non-denomination church now- it fits our comfort level and ideals- and am looking for something there. Does anybody know of a similar church in Grand Junction?

Hi Ks456! I looked in the phone book and counted 15 different non denomination churches in the Grand Valley. They are all over the valley; Palisade, Fruita, Clifton, and G.J. itself.

Thanks-
I did see several different churches that were non-denominational in my research, but do you have any knowledge as far as congregation size is concerned? Sorry to be so detail oriented- it seems to be my nature!! ![]() |

I lived in Grand Junction from 1995 to 2001 and visited 63 churches after first moving there. If you want Bible-based teaching and great people, go to Heritage Church on Patterson Road.

My family goes to Grand Junction Fellowship Church. It is one of the largest non-denominational churhes in the valley. They have many opportunities for new members to connect with church family and the community via small groups. I don't know exactly what the membership size is, but our main worship center has probably 1,100 or so seats with plans for a new worship center that will seat 1,800. The congregation and pastoral staff is warm and friendly, and we have an awesome praise and worship service with a mix of contemporary and traditional Christian music.

We've attemded 2 different churches since we moved here 6 years ago.....both met our needs at the time we attended. The Canyonview Vineyard Church (24 1/2 Road and G Road area) is non-denom and is 2000+ attendees, spread over 4 services (2 Sat pm and 2 Sun a.m.)....We are now attending a smaller church (non-denom) that is a new church and currently has about 150 attendees each week...this is the Canyon West Worship Center in Fruita (in the Kokopelli plaza just off the I-70 interchange, to the south), just outside of GJ to the west.
Best wishes on your search Quote:
