I'm not sure if they have a local paper. The major newspapers are the Rocky Mountain News and the Denver Post for the Denver Metro area.

What specifically are you looking for? If for housing costs, any site, like realtor.com will give you an idea.

I am basically interested in finding a place to rent for under $800. (the less expensive the better) I hope that's not impossible! You have to remember I am moving from northern WI and, although taxes are high here, off-water real estate is reasonable. (My mortage is under $800)

I am very interested in Wheat Ridge, Loveland, Broomfield, Castle Rock, etc. type areas. Unless someone can suggest somewhere very comparable to those places?

Ahh, I miss having an $800 mortgage. Mine in Kalispell, MT 5 years ago got me a beautiful, charming house built in 1902 and it even had the white picket fence. Ah, the good ol' days...

Here in Castle Rock, there are many rentals avail. Nothing fancy but a relatively new, medium sized (1500-2000sq ft) will rent for $1100-1500, give or take. There might be some cheaper if you look hard. $ 800 as a rental isn't gonna get you much, but probably possible. You'll get a good sampling by google searching Colorado rentals.

Good luck
