After reading this article ( America's Economy - The Solution ) posted by Bob, I don't know wether to laugh or cry. Too many members of congress actually think like this.

In his weekly newsletter, JH Kunstlers asks the question:
Is there anyone in the known universe who thinks that the US financial system is not fifty feet beyond the edge of the mesa of credibility?

According to this article, there is apparently still one person who does.

the same guy who offended in every way recently while trying to be funny...

Quote:
The American leader, who has been condemned throughout his presidency for failing to tackle climate change, ended a private meeting with the words: "Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter."

He then punched the air while grinning widely, as the rest of those present including Gordon Brown and Nicolas Sarkozy looked on in shock.

I posted this in the business forum, but thought it would fit into this discussion pretty well too.

Its a long watch, but it gives you the history of the banking system, and explains how and where 'money' is created. I'd love to see it as required curriculum in Colorado's schools.

What? Teach the truth? In American schools? Are you kidding? That's positively un-american! The DHS will be at your door any minute now to charge you with subversive thought patterns. Pack light, it's warm at Gitmo this time of year.

No sooner does Bob get back to CO soil than the infestation of prairie dogs at my employer is suddenly GONE. Not a single one on the premises these days.

Coincidence?

Nope. I got tired of letting my turkey deep fryer sit unloved between Thanksgiving dinners.

Thus Prairie Dog Poppers were born. I actually coined the term a while back after the first microwave oven experiments, but popping prairie dogs in that manner is a bit messy so I gave up on that.

Next up: Kung Pao Prairie Dog.
