I bought a 12-pac of beer last week and it taste different than the Coors Light I'm used to. Anyone else run into this? The label on the can is the same except the word "light" is black or dark green instead of white.

Did you buy 3.2% beer in the grocery store?

"Taste" and "Coors Light" should not be used in the same sentence unless you are saying "I bought a bottle of water and it tasted a little funny. When I looked at the label I realized it was a Coors Light!"

Sky dog is spot on.
Colors makes a lot of small batch beers that taste very good.
Colors Light is not beer.

Do you think that "funny taste" could be from the kayakers in Clear Creek?

It was bought in OK, so it was 3.2. However, all other 3.2 I've bought tasted different than this.

I'm not afraid to admit I like Coors Light, haha. That said, OP, I bought a six pack of the cans you're describing (the new re-design) and to me it tasted the same as it always has. Never had 3.2 beer, though, so I can't compare to that.

Maybe you just got a bad batch?

somewhat off-topic, but when is Colo. going to modernize its liquor laws? I mean, you can't buy wine and liquor in the supermarket! Very old fashioned in my opinion. I suspect it's the liquor store lobby that wants all the business.
